I don’t know about sliding in it looked more like he was also trying to kick the the ball out of Clifford’s hand which you’d think would constitute dangerous play.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

you mean like i said that Hoy was disappointing and i had seen more from Litten in a 20 minute stint at full back than Hoy. Your wig flew off in rage but whats your opinion now? I am a fan of Chris Satae but his defence tonight was poor. The game is also about defending and his defensive effort wasnt there.

Think the changes at half time bringing Trueman & Dwyer on seemed to unsettle us a little and take us time to get reorganised.
Think the FB position is Littens to lose, on current form Hoy has to bide his time to get back at in at 1. Though that’s fir Smith to manage in terms of what’s best for the team and a young player.
Really struggle to understand what we do so differently to the opposing teams when it comes to 6 agains
It was a deseved and well earned win particularly as we are carrying three or four players who would not get anywhere near a place in most other S/L teams. Seriously how does Lane keep his place?
Really pleasing performance in the conditions and great to get the win against the club at the top of the league on a good winning run. I thought we'd blown it when we fluffed that chance near the end and Wigan matched up field but the players found that extra energy to hang on. We asked for more commitment and effort and we've had that in spades in the last two games.
Clifford was excellent, Litten once more showed what a fine prospect he is, Houghton again rolled back the years and Trueman though obviously rusty came up with that important play in the last minute.
Hopefully Hoy is back next week. Personally I'd have him at full back and Litten on the wing.

Agree on the Litten point. It strengthens us on the wing. Hard to believe he's only a teenager.

Going into half-time I thought we were dead men walking so did terrific to hold on. Thought Clifford was excellent and big raps for Sutcliffe as well. Hoy is our full-back, back he comes.
