Whereas, Wigan have a few injuries and about 8 players in the England squad. I hope we start to turn a corner and see some grit, win or lose. Our attack should be more fluid and hopefully resilient in D. For me, I’d line up like this:

1. Tex (better than litten in attack)
2. Litten (just needs to be on pitch to develop)
3. Carlos
4. Sutty
5. Swift
6. Trueman
7. Clifford
8. Sao
9. Houghton
10. Fash
11. Savelio (far better option than lane, enough said)
12. Griffin
13. Cator
14. Dwyer
15. Satae
16. Taylor
17. Scott (covers litten if Truey or Cliff can’t make 80 mins)

Hoy better than Litten in attack?
How can you say that
Have you seen Hoy make a line break that Litten seems to be able to?
I am really hoping Hoy gets some confidence and comes good but i dont think i am the only one who has been disappointed by Hoy and not just in attack because his defence is non existent.
for the Wigan game i would leave Litten at full back and Scott again on the wing and play Hoy at six with Trueman on the bench.
If Hoy gets his hands on the ball more and utilises his running game which we have not yet seen it may boost his confidence which i think is what is missing in his game

Seems they've found a new scapegoat.

Always need one don't they.
Think some people forget how good Hoy was in the first 2 games.

People also neglect to mention Hoy is only fb in SL who was willing to take regular hit ups from his own 20

Litten is clearly going to be a superstar but he’s not the finished product. His one try assist came from making the wrong decision, we had that stupid offload that went 20m behind that attacking line and he got caught on 5th in an attacking area. All in one game where we were dominant

We certainly look more balanced with Hoy in the side and now the pack is looking better Hoy should thrive

Maybe that tells you something. Other clubs don’t see that as the role of a fb? The FC game plan is wrong? He does ot because some who should do it don’t or are not good enough? What is certain the other 11 first choice fbs will not be ducking out of that part of the gams of their own volition. Coaches would not accept that.

Two problems for Wigan might present an opening for Hull if they build on the Huddersfield performance. 1) We have too many forwards out for it not to hurt us - Cooper, Singleton, Ellis and Isa missing on the back of the Bateman transfer at the start of the year. Harvie Hill and Junior Nsemba are great prospects but still very early in their development so may struggle against some of the bigger Hull forwards. 2) Our defence has been winning us games (conceding only 6 points in each of the last 4) but our attack has suffered without Field and Cust. Shorrocks has done well providing a solid link but we're nowhere near as dangerous with him there. Hampshire is playing in the reserves today and has scored a try and shown some nice touches (half-time as I type). They could decide to throw him in but either way our attack definitely won't be free-flowing.

Well I doubt the England training match took a great deal out of the players on Saturday .

You play a depleted side Wigan at home on Thursday not away.
Can’t see anything beyond a big win for Hull, with a huge attendance and players playing out of their skins for a new contract.
