According to some reports Salford are in a spot of financial trouble, having already had a substantial loan from the council to help with ongoing costs . Things will become clearer in the next weeks or so , but as the saying goes -there’s no smoke without fire . Even if this turns out to be blown up , it does make you wonder how many clubs will survive going forwards in super league without substantial input from rich benefactors who are willing to lose their hard or Ill gotten gains hand over fist .

Id be down with that. On another note, just shows you the instability and insecurity of RL over here. He signs a huge contract length with Salford when they are in trouble.
