A tough win in the South of France aided and abetted by strong support from the Wire faithful. A big "da lawn" to Builth Wells Wire who top scored this week with 11 points. The rest of us need to improve our game particularly Uncle Rico (
I was obviously suffering from Skegness Jet Lag)

Back to winning ways and to the top of Super League and we still want more it seems. Perhaps we should remember where we were last year and of course the proper coronation isn't until October..let's hope it's right up our street and we are a collective of ex moaners.

Another decent win against the Dragons away in France, the players must take a lot of credit for coming out on top in a close contest it was certainly no banker. Talking of credit, the aptly named Douglas Black topped up his Prediction Comp account by 21 points this week he's on a roll. The rest of us well we will have to do better next week as follows,

We didn't really get out of the blocks against a Leigh side full of guys with something to prove aided and abetted by others assembled by Lam into a well balanced team....they are certainly no mugs nor hard of hearing it seems. No disrespect but you know it's a bad day at the Prediction Comp Office when Matt is our chart topper. He is joined at the top of the hit parade by CW8 and Builth Wells Wire whilst the rest of us were off tune as follows

In most walks of life, they say that you have to speculate to accumulate and I think that the common consensus is that we should have accumulated more in the first half when were on top. So it falls on the aptly named The Speculator to accumulate the most this week whilst the rest of us need to pull our rabbits out of our collective hats next week as follows,

Back to winning ways, a result that keeps us well placed in the top echelons of SL despite our best efforts and some odd decisions encouraging the opposition. Someone who doesn't need any encouragement this week is Builth Wells Wire who top scored with 14 points. The rest of us need an arm round the shoulder/kick up the booty as apprpropriate and as follows,

Whilst quite a few predicted a loss few can presumably have thought they'd be picking up Prediction points when Wigan were reduced to 12 men......butt then again.

Our chief weapon is surprise, surprise ad fear, fear and surprise. Our two weapons are fear and surprise and ruthless efficiency. Our three weapons are fear and surprise and ruthless efficency and an almost fanatical dedication to a passive defensive line and using the other weapons on ourselves.
