Decent game. If they had got one more early doors second half I think they may have got away from us. As is we worked hard albeit making errors and got past them. I think our bench was stronger and hurt them. Macani had a good game in attack. Albert had a decent game I thought and Basset, Waine, Leyland Snr and Parata played well. Overall a good team effort and a couple of the younger players got a run out. But we will be punished if we don’t take chances and gift the ball to the opposition in the next round. Our kicking game both in play and from the tee is not where the better teams are so that is something we need to think about when recruiting.

We were much better second half. I though Albert was pedestrian first half but seemed more fired up in the second. Far too many errors though and still lacking variation in our attack.
Can't agree with being better in the second half, more like final quarter. Overall pretty shocking performance from a team in the championship. I know folk seem to rate Macani 2 tries on his wing due to poor positioning is just not good enough. Don't think we deserved that win to be fair, Dewsbury gifted it to us losing there heads with set restarts on the last tackle on their line, and the sin bin for dissent
Bongser knows whose influence you are under to make you all so churlish and curmudgeonly, as do you. Vecna from the Upside-Down.
Stop it. Break the spell.
Not got a single clue what you are on about. I just give my view of the game. Doncaster/Dewsbury both games looked like we had found our true level for most of both games

I quite like the idea of us getting Wakefield and allocating them a really shixx area of the ground right in the corner by the toilet block to see how they like it. On the plus side once they have visited RP they will never complain about the quality of their stadium again although to be fair to RP no sides to their ground are a building site and the only containers in the ground are actually for storing things nor the corporate re.
I've only managed to get to the two games at Barnes this season. It is easier to get to than PL for me but I was surprised how run down it is. To my mind we didn't do the basics well for the first 50 minutes. Short drop outs no where near our players, allowing a kick off to bouncr out of play etc etc. We clearly had more pace and power and when we channelled it in the last half hour it was a different game. It struck me our last tackle kicking often resulted in a 20m restart. We would have been better off not kicking and always running on the last to avoid the seven tackle set. But we won and if we get a home draw in the 1895 we have got a chance of Wembley
