When I went today I was expecting the worst and with the knock on in the first set and the drop out on the full I wasn't feeling much better. But credit to the team, they had a lot more desire today, improved intensity and the forwards got involved a lot more then they have been. We had a stroke of luck when their winger fluffed a simple try but all in all a good solid performance from the team. Defensively much better, rather than leaving the centres and wingers to get overlapped our cover defense was on point for the majority of the time today which was good to see. I am sure the win will help boost confidence within the team as well. A much stiffer test against Wigan in a couple of weeks but if we put in the effort we did today and lose I can live with that.

What a relief to get a win. I'd forgotten what it was like.
You could see the change in intensity from the start. Litten was excellent, what a prospect he is. I though Swift was really good, always eager to get involved and made good yards. Houghton as others have said proved his doubters (like me) wrong. Satae and Sao back on form offering plenty of go forward. Clifford controlled the game, a bit unfortunate with the two experimental drop outs but I quite like the fact that he tried them.

I agree with you.Pleased for him after coming back from two serious injuries. He is always the worker in the background like Fash. The problem is for forwards in Rugby League they are both too small and lightweight to make a real impact in S/L.
Much needed win defence was good although think Huddersfield looked bang average and pressure on Watson it they don't improve given they've spent on the squad
Litten was very good should keep his shirt so hoy shouldn't walk straight back in
Still dont rate him but houghton played well today
