The ground being in the middle of nowhere won’t help.
Sky commentators overwhelmed by the travelling Hull Kingston Rovers fans at the Jungle tonight. The Hull Kingston Rovers fans stayed well after the final whistle to show their admiration for their team. The Sky team and and Hull Kingston Rovers head coach Willie Peters commented on how passionate and loyal the fans are.
Hull Kingston Rovers fans did their team proud tonight that passion is unrivalled in Superleague. Live on Sky Sports. They were so loud post match the sky presenters couldn’t hear Hull Kingston Rovers head Coach Willie Peters. This coupled with players going over to the fans what a club this is Sky we’re in awe of this connection between the players and fans unrivalled in Superleague for sure.

Exciting times for us at Rovers, we're slowly putting the pieces together, we've even got our own Virtual Terrace bell end now.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

The Jungle is a brilliant traditional rugby ground. Salt of the earth grounded fans, and its intimacy creates a belting atmosphere like Hull Kingston Rovers Craven Park does. Far superior to the soulless library atmospheres of the concrete block seated stadiums.

Willie Peters was taken aback the passionate loud faithful Hull Kingston Rovers fans throughout the match and especially post match when even the Sky team were struggling to hear the head coach speak during his interview. Genuinely impressed by the Hull Kingston Rovers fans.

You are not wrong, the HJ does not come close to how it was at Wilderspool. Some things like peeing on a brick wall I don’t mind not doing anymore though.

Agreed. Due to the lack of toilet blocks (despite beer being served inside the ground) in ye olde days, a lot of chaps simply peed against the back (top) wall of the terrace. Due to the "alped" nature of terraces and due to gravity, suede shoes were not recommended.
