Ask the OP who’s since PM’d me if I’m talking rubbish. I read lots on forums that I just shake my head at but just cannot be bothered with people who think they know stuff coming back at me and calling tit for tat. Where do some of the rumours come from really!?

Whoa, you're not allowed to challenge outlandish rumours as unfounded

Until you can give viable evidence of what you claim, it’s hearsay, therefore rumour. I have not heard anything viable to AP turning down investment opportunities. He’s openly requested others to invest in FC, no one has come forward unless you can PROVE otherwise.
I don’t believe the Atroopa Pharmacy claim one bit, if Pearson did reject them I’m sure they’d have taken their bat and ball home.
Even for a SL club a 200k investment isn’t exactly huge money. It would’ve been swallowed up in the first season. Not that I’d complain at a 200k investment.
Right now Pearson needs to start thinking about easy wins. Needs to start giving us fans something positive.
There’s not much to enjoy at the minute but if they announced extensions to Balmforth, Stavely, Armstrong & Litten I’d be fairly happy that the club is tying down our best youth and has a long term plan in place.
Obviously, can’t really be handing out new contract to first teamers as they need to step up and earn it. And perception would be we’re rewarding mediocrity. Think right now, only ones I’d offer contracts too would be Savelio, Cator & Fash but moving forward the last two should be squad players who are around our 21 vying for spots when injuries/form is poor.

“You and that barometer wielding idiot Tarquin, lives the other side of the world and pontificates on all things FC. “
This is great but unexpected !
I actually bought a season pass about 5 years ago and obviously didn’t use it. I bought my brother a season pass this year as he’s off sick from work with stage 4 cancer. I’m over in Hull in mid June and will be paying for a seat in Corporate box at one of the games.
I also coached players that went onto play for Hull FC and also helped out on the Scholarship programme. I was a Shareholder and was active behind the scenes at times.
I buy Merchandise most years and have it shipped over for my daughters to wear, who are big fans. and of course a tee shirt and shirt here and there for myself.
I was of course at both games in Sydney.
Not sure what else I can do apart from contribute on here as to where FC are going wrong and right when they do.
My Barometer theorem is widely respected by Coaches and players alike.
it’s a forum - if we all had the same opinions it would be beyond boring

Will you have to put 'the barometer' into kennels when you fly over here in June? If its coming across with you can we have a meet-up and a cud chew over a few beers?
Slight change of subject but did anyone see Rovers v Cas last night? I think , given how Cas played it’s gonnna be a straight scrap between us and Wakey now for the wooden spoon and cannot help but wonder if we should have gone with Last as our coach for a while longer - I know people wanted us to sever all ties with anything to do with Radders at the time But Cas looked well coached and resilient and a lot better than when Radders had them.

Rovers were well off and Cas looked hopeless. We made the right choice in not giving him the job

Absolutely not. To keep this on topic Pearson made the correct call in not appointing Last. Hodgson was a gamble that didn't work but Last was not the man for the job.
