Any chance of winning this, Mcintosh,Lovodua, Lane and McNamara have to be 4 to make way.
If Smith doesnt drop those four then he really has lost his way I Know you dont rate Mitch but is he more injury prone than a host of players in this current squad?

I quite like Mitch and would have him on the wing, just seems to pick up alot of niggling injuries, played 26 games 2 seasons plus this one. He certainly isn't the only injury prone player we have.
I can see both Mcintosh and McNamara playing this week.

Think we'll see Evans in for Brown and Houghton for Lovodua.
Think you may well be right though neither Evans or Houghton have shown much this season either. Wonder when TS might give Balmforth a shot instead of trying to get something from playing Houghton & Lovodua just hasn’t shown much at all this season.
Doesn’t sound good for Mitch which TS making reference to ACL and possible significant operation.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Balmforth doesnt seem to have the engine yet for regular S/L but still think he should be on the bench and given 40 minutes. He is mobile so two mobile nines may make a difference to our attack. We really have a problem at six with McNamara. The lad offers nothing but catch and pass and his kicking from hand is also poor. For me Smith may as well utilise either Houghton,Dwyer or Balmforth at six and use them to run at the defence. They surely cant be as innefective as McNamara
