Don’t get the hate for Pearson personally, the facts are:

1. We wouldn’t have a club without him.
2. Up until last year we have one of the most expensive squads in the league
3. He’s funding the club with no support and he clearly needs it.
4. He’s signs off on recruitment, he doesn’t do the scouting.
5. He’s not thrown his toys out the pram and threatened to walk away
6. He’s always been willing to take losses paying deadwood off.
7. Pre Covid we had never ran at a loss

People hate on him when realistically he has the most expensive season ticket at the club.

Right now times are tough, but In his tenure he’s provided us some of the best times. He can’t be blamed for underperforming squads. That’s down to the coach and players.

It’s clear we need another investor but that should be to supplement him, not replace him. He clearly loves the club and treats us well. And most importantly better the devil you know.

In answer to a few of these points a lot of them are just opinion and not actually fact. Heres how i see it

1. To say we wouldnt have a club without him is a guess - if he hadnt of took over then someone else would - just like if he left someone else would buy us - we wouldnt just dissapear ffs
2. Yes he spends all the money on the squad and bugger all on staff that would help out with the running of the club - thats not good and is shown in the shambolic way the clubs run in some areas
3. Yeah he has no support but that seems to be his choice - Hudgehill relaised that wasnt sustainable and has allowed other other people in, when will Pearson remove his head from the sand and do the same?
4. He recruits continually poor managers/coachs
5. Hes thrown his toys out of the pram a few times over the years
6. Not this time or players would be gonners allowing fresh blood to come in
7. The only true one

Just opinion and not actually fact!!!
1. If he left, no one leaves without selling but wtf would buy FC. Said before people are queuing up to invest never mind buying NOT.
2. He’s invested everything in the squad and training facilities and had to cut costs in admin.
3. Hudgell’s an ambulance chaser who repeatedly lost £500,000
a season, spat his dummy out, threatened to walk away until somebody felt forced to step up. It’s only rumours that AP has turned down investment opportunities. I’ve not heard anything viable. He’s openly asked for outside investment, see 1.
4. We had Gentle who I might add seemed to be the real deal. Oh my, Radford did a real number on him talking AP into getting shot and giving the job to him. McRae was another who did a number on AP. The one thing I do regret was AP kept Radford on 2 years too long. Radford oversaw our poor recruitment for his last 2 seasons and there lies the rub Taylor Shaull Griffin.
5. Bollucks, if he’d thrown the toys out the pram, you wouldn’t have something to whine about.
6. Covid left us nigh on broke, how he keeps this club going God only knows. Where does the cash come from to pay anyone off. He got shot of Reynolds, must have cost a packet.
7. Your only true quote.
You’ve always been a whinger, who rarely attended, now you’ve got the perfect excuse, you no longer live in Hull. Do us all a favour and give up. You and that barometer wielding idiot Tarquin, lives the other side of the world and pontificates on all things FC. I am and have been and always will be a pass holder, I have the right to be called a fan (fanatic) and therefore have the right to criticise my club, anyone else is a casual supporter and therefore does not have that right.
Anyone arguing that AP should sell up is an idiot. I’ve posted elsewhere that the blame should be directed from top to bottom but this squad should shoulder the blame for what’s happening now, end of.

He has been offered investment from a few people - he went to Atropa Pharmacy's MD for 200k - and he was going to give them it, but he wanted a share, or a place on the board in return. AP turned it down

Interesting when you consider Atropa is a main sponsor and seem to be well thought of by the club, yet when help is offered they are happy to turn it away. AP either has something in the pipeline or has too much pride to have more members on the board.

That is complete rubbish wherever you’ve got that from and has never happened.
