Seriously how did this KCFM radio presenter end up running / ruining your club? Why did Adam Pearson allow this inept radio presenter to run the club from a poor radio presenter to match day announcer he ended up running the club and even had an influence on player signings. He was inept as a pitch side announcer why on earth has he should an influence on the future of the club.
Hull fans (and fake Rovers accounts) need to get over James Clark once being a radio DJ. I once worked part time in a shop. Does that mean I’m not qualified for my job now despite having a masters in my area.
The bloke has all the qualifications to do the job and has a lot of experience in the business.
Whether he’s doing a good job is questionable but now he has Tony Smith to manage the rugby side and he can do the commercial.
From what I’ve been told by someone involved very closely in the club is that he works insanely hard, is well thought of and get paid a pittance of what he should out of love for the club.

Do people really think Clarke makes all the recruitment decisions on his own, do you think he choose to sign Evans, Lovodua and Reynolds, he may sort out the contracts, but it will be the head coach's job to sign the players he wants. I'm not saying he isn't blameless, buy the way some fans go on about him, you would think he is the only reason we are so poor.

I completely agree. It isn't Clark's fault at all - he has to undertake all kind of roles under his CEO position, that shouldn't be his. There is severe under investment in the business with people taking on numerous different roles. His commercial accumen is really good, with the sponsorships attracted, the full hospitality etc. It is AP's fault for not putting money forward to fill positions in the club, with qualified people
James Clark is not the problem at Hull FC and neither is Adam Pearson. I am certain Adam or Clark dont go out and sign players because they like them, they follow the coaches recommendations. We dont know what has gone on at the club under Smith but it takes a lot to turn a top six/seven squad with some decent players into a bag of poop and thats why i have my doubts about Tony Smith. Brett Hodgson has to take a lot of the blame for the current situation as his recruitment barring Trueman who we havnt seen yet was unbelievably poor and naive to say the least.

Agree, like id stick my house on it was Hodgson saying 'get me Reynolds' as they were at Wests together, Clark's role is then just to get the deal over the line.
Football teams have tried to have expensive teams of analysts and sporting directors making transfer decisions but it still usually ends up being sign who the head coach wants, and they spit their dummies out and go if they don't.
