Given our indifferent form in the league what a better spring board to kick into gear with a big local derby against rivals . Despite the fact Bradford won’t be fielding several players from other teams I still see this as a close tense game . Without knowing who’s injured or not I’d like to see doro back in , win this one and it’s one win away from Wembley, that should be motivation enough to have a real dig .

I think Doro certainly has potential but is still raw.
Just who would you drop from the pack that played yesterday. I felt every one turned in a top-drawer performance and they all would hope to play on Saturday.

I wouldn’t drop anyone from the pack , I would leave pickersgill out provided woody is fit and play doro . The only way to get any form is to be playing regularly and I thought doro did well against Bradford. Essentially we have 3 forwards who aren’t getting picked either because of form or not selected, Maher , Oakley , Forster . Perhaps not for this game but in the near future I’d like to see Oakley have a run of games even if it’s in the centre .

Are you karl Harrison in disguise. Another prop in the squad!
By my count that would make eight ( 8 ! ) who have often played at prop in the 17.

For me lannon , gee , kav are predominately 2nd rowers , fairbank loose forward leaving , Murray who’s playing well , calcott, tangata, doro to rotate . Don’t see the point in pickersgill unless of injury, we miss barbers utility value who could play centre and second row that’s why I suggested Oakley .

Whilst he's still been really solid all season and can usually do 80 minutes I'd consider giving Kavanagh a break as he looks completely battered at the moment. Salty will obviously come back - I'd probably keep Tibbs at centre with Mccomb poss on the bench unless we go with 4 forwards. Would much rather that than Maher as that effectively wastes one of the interchanges because of his short minutes.

Agree on kav , looks shattered, perhaps lannon and gee in the second row , inman who is class btw and three forwards on the bench , yes Maher disappointed with him , it’s strange that he was doing longer spells at hull kr than he did for us .

Really? Our forwards hardly made a break against a very average York side. That is why our half backs are struggling so much. There were tentative signs of improvement yesterday, it could have easily been 16v0, and should have been more but at least the signs were there. Up The Fax! :thumb:

For me Doro should be in the side why he keeps getting dropped is beyond me we need forwards who can give us better go forward and god forbid break the oppositions line. When the stats for meters made was mentioned in one of Grixs post match interviews even he said that our backs make about 80 percent of our overall go forward and that for me tells you exactly what we are lacking up front. As for the game i see it being very close but hopefully this time it will be us celebrating at the end.

Let's hope Eribe doesn't become another Springer, Kwaze or King. Imagine Fax having those three to pick from. Where's the common denominator? They've gone though and surely it's time for us to hit the straps this weekend...isn't it? Here's hoping. Dusty Miller, Longwood. Milltown Platinum Blonde 4.0% Mmm! Up The Fax! :thumb:
