I am new to this site but not to Wakey T who I have supported more than 60 years.
I was concerned when both Minards & Carter knew the players leaving needed replacing equal quality + having always boasted our academy
Players are our future & we bring them through that's the benefit of our academy which most of us support by extra financial payments.
So, what happens, We have players retiring, poor replacements due to lack of funds, playmaker capt, leaving on an early decision, two players leaving from being our production line then Corey is swapped. Reliance on an aged injury prone half back as front line play maker.
Finally, The coaching quality was reduced, this is not a personal attack, as people go ALL the staff are nice people.
But they are not high quality proven personnel !!
Finally when the two owners - Leaders say prior to the season we can compete & at least we will still have a club - - oh dear this is a known running down pathway to the championship, Very little revenue with ambition which cannot be funded.
We Are A Championship side get use to it !

Dont want to sound beaten but think its time to start building for next season in championship,play players who may be here not the ones who wont be.i would say play youth and get them ready but the stupid rule makes that impossible at this stage.lets try and build a team capable of challenging next year with fev gone theres not many quality teams in there
