I think our squad is better than both Cas and Wakey.

If the writing isn't on the wall there then it never will be, he's even getting to the point of having had enough!!!

There are 6 or 7 thousand fans who will never desert the club whatever, some say they will not go again etc. that's fine but we all know they will because , unlike in football where if City are losing you can revert to supporting Liverpool they have no where else to go, its our club, its been our life so we pays our money and try to look happy. However as well, I think (and I'll get pilloried for this) Adam is right that with a proven new coach whose hands have been tied by other peoples poor recruitment, we should stand by our club and 'sod everyone else' they might criticise Pearson but, for us at present, he is all we have and as such he's poured a lot of money into our club (I remember what the Huddersfield fans were saying about their owner just a couple of seasons ago and the vitriolic posts on the Warrington board at this time last year) but without him we would not have a club to support,

However he has got to understand too that although we will never desert them as a Club, we as stakeholders have every right to an opinion, more of a right than the written media, Sky TV, the RL intelligencia or the little boys and girls who come on here gloating out their opinions from the east of the City. That's why boards like this one are by and large so useful. We moan and groan and enquire whether there's a Weatherspoon's in Rochdale or Keighley, but we still back the club we love.

Adam Pearson may finance it and boy am I glad he has done over the past 12 years, but in the end it's our bloody club!!! That's a fact, so for me we have to dig in and try to give Pearson, Clark, Smith and the "Culture Club' out on the field all the support we can and as our owner says, judge them by where we are as a team at the end of the season. For many people it appears both inside and outside the club this is feeling a bit like the last chance saloon. At present for me Survival will be enough Just my view of course and no doubt up for being shot down as usual.

Why would Hull City fans revert to watching Liverpool? What a strange thing to say.
And you do have somewhere to go, you could go to Hull Kingston Rovers.
Hull to Liverpool is 129 miles ( as you stated City fans would revert to Watching Liverpool, and by stating revert this means they were once Liverpool fans anyway , I think you have lost your way a bit in this rant and got confused)
You have heaps of Rugby League clubs within a 129 miles radius so I don’t understand your logic there.
At the end of the day Pearson needs to go he says the same thing every season nd it looks like some fans are realising this, however you will always have the gullible ones who swallow Adams “ Jam tomorrow” false promises season upon season and I don’t understand how he thinks he will get out of this mess as the financial report is a complete mess he has no money.

Loss for the year c650k

Note that Tax creditor has jumped significantly which could indicate entering into a TTP arrangement with HMRC

I could have had a nice night away somewhere far better for that money. If thjere was 15000 FC fans at that games with half paying for tickets id hazard a guess that not one fo those will be buying tickets again in a hurry. Ive spent £200 on FC clobber as well this season that im now embarrassed to wear. Thats how low a lot of fans are feeling. Totally let down

I hope you don't mind me replying but that's absolutely understandable we all feel let down and well done to you for that is the the spirit of our club and who can blame you for not coming again we have all made sacrifices over the years to watch the club we love and you can't be expected to make that sort of sacrifice with the drivel we are serving up at present. We all have every right to complain in whatever way we choose, even if it is staying away because it's so expensive to get here, when balanced against your outgoings. . However, my point is that you have every right too feel aggrieved and not spend that again but you still love the club and they are your club and I guess they always will be and if one day push came to shove and you had to try and save it you would be there for them at the front of the queue. Whilst those of us who have the stomach means and blind faith to attend games and pay for our direct debits will continue to do so and we'll be there come the day as well. Because without our beloved Club, we have nowhere else to go!

That is so true. I've lost count of the "loyal" City fans who didn't give a toss about them during the dark days and followed Liverpool and United instead but once City got in the Prem suddenly rediscovered their love for the Tigers.

When City got relegated they reverted back to Liverpool and United. My mate is a die hard City fan from the 80's and finds it amusing.

And what's the common factor at Cas? Radders signing his past.it.mates. I notice Fonua was 18th man this week, an expensive mistake bringing him back and then Cas have wasted money throwing him a lifeline. He must be laughing all the way to the pub.

Can understand some fans having enough and not wanting to go again (and we are of course have a cost of living crisis)

But if you are going to go can we all make a deal that we get behind the team, try and make it intimidating for the opposition etc and maybe just maybe we might edge a close game.

I'm as guilty as everyone of just arriving right near kickoff and slumping in my seat for a good whinge for 80mins.

It would also be a good idea for the club to hand out flags, do a display with cards in the stands etc to try and uplift the atmosphere. This was done in the 00s and worked a few times for the club

Not that I'm wishing it but a relegation threat every game will be crucial and the jeopardy will create a better atmosphere than the usual outside chance of a play off place we've aimed for in years.

ATEOTD I, like many others have discussion on here when good, a moan when things are poor and swear in the trudge home of which the latter 2 I’ve done rather a lot of. I’ve said to myself that’s it I’ve had enough after the pitiful performances and hammerings even last year. Yet here I am still prepared to go and take my seat though no doubt I’ll once again wonder why I bothered after next weekend. The thing is, as bad as they are I just can’t let go as they are my club that I’ve followed man & boy. Ok I’ve drawn the line on following them away at present as that doesn’t take away any great financial support from the club.

I doubt I’m alone and many others will be walking up the the stadium next week in both hope and trepidation chuntering away to ourselves because the club is in our blood.

Yes we are in a battle with Wakey as well as Cas no one will argue on that. The worry is whether the current lot have the heart and fight to turn things around especially if they know they won’t be here next season. Looking at the table who’d have thought St’s would only be 4pts ahead of us after 7 straight losses?

Once we have Clifford, Hoy & Trueman back I do think that will be a huge change and help TS bring something better out the pigs ear of a squad he is having to deal with.

For me what annoys me more is that the squad admittedly is not packed with super stars but it is better & can do a lot better than they have shown so far this season.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
