I still think Smith needs to take some of the blame, consistently picking under performing players, I fail to see how the likes of Barron, Balmforth and Staverley and Scott could do any worst that Mcintosh, Houghton, Lovodua and Lane. We look alot worse than either seasons under Hodgson. Ge handling of the Savelio situation is really poor, picking out one player and criticising him I'm public.

It's OK saying he needs to bring his own players in, but we have to get well clear if relegation or players won't come, we look in real danger as it stands and sadly relying on Leigh to do us a favour.

He has to turn us around, a good coach should be able to motivate and improve players, we look worse in both areas.

So it's not all about recruitment

Yes likes of mcintosh, Evans lovodua have been poor signings esp the first 2

Recruitment and retention, its the same thing, both have been poor.

Ok so it’s retention as well as recruitment. It all boils down to giving contracts to the wrong people. Sometimes it’s the wrong length of contract that’s the issue. Scott Taylor springs to mind.

Just a thought guys, Don’t forget/under estimate the role of Davidson as S&C coach….in the last few years at Leeds our injury record and fitness was generally poor under him. he seemed to do a good job in that role many years ago, but times and the game has changed…..maybe his methods haven’t changed adequately and/or at to suit the modern game??

Clearly Tony Smith loves him as they were together at Huddersfield and he was one of the first back room coaching appointments he made when bringing him across with him to the Rhinos.

Intresting stats, lots of metres made, not surprisingly lots of errors and missed tackles.

Some real lazy efforts form the forwards. IWhy is McNamara taking 22 hit ups, whilst does Satae 9 for example.

The youngsters idea is a wierd one as throwing them in for the sake of it helps nobody. Barron looked so raw and out of place last season it would be criminal to throw him in.

I dont buy your last comment either, the attitude of the players is appalling. If they dont want to do something it doesnt happen. Dan Tomlinson said ut best earlier if Smith fails here its says more about our club then it does him.

Now people can say things wasnt as bad under previous coaches but they was. Infact we had many of long losing streaks.

They is a rotten culture at the club from the players and even on the terraces. It was never an overnight fix and anybody (and they was alot of you) who thought we would be any different under smith this season are deluded. He cant just wave a magic wand change how we attack, defend, attitude and fitness in the space of 6 months.

That's what Mcintosh looks like every game, had a couple of really pathetic efforts yesterday and offers little in attack

Same with Lane over Savelio.

Lovodua at 6.

We usually finish the season poorly, but this seems like the worst start I can remember, at least we are still usually I'm play off contention I June, season over apart from a relegation battle .

When can we start to critised Smith, when we are relegated?

I'm having sleepless nights that we might have a summer drop off in form

Only bright spot is we haven't had Hoy, Clifford and Trueman on the pitch together yet. But we could have Slater, Johns and Lockyer and they'd still struggle if the pack isn't on top.
