Adam Pearson said last night, "We cannot come out of this hole without you, the supporters. Sod everyone else, ignore them, go against modern sporting rules and dig in with us. If it hasn't improved by the end of the season then feel free to pack my bags!"
If the writing isn't on the wall there then it never will be, he's even getting to the point of having had enough!!!
There are 6 or 7 thousand fans who will never desert the club whatever, some say they will not go again etc. that's fine but we all know they will because , unlike in football where if City are losing you can revert to supporting Liverpool they have no where else to go, its our club, its been our life so we pays our money and try to look happy. However as well, I think (and I'll get pilloried for this) Adam is right that with a proven new coach whose hands have been tied by other peoples poor recruitment, we should stand by our club and 'sod everyone else' they might criticise Pearson but, for us at present, he is all we have and as such he's poured a lot of money into our club (I remember what the Huddersfield fans were saying about their owner just a couple of seasons ago and the vitriolic posts on the Warrington board at this time last year) but without him we would not have a club to support,
However he has got to understand too that although we will never desert them as a Club, we as stakeholders have every right to an opinion, more of a right than the written media, Sky TV, the RL intelligencia or the little boys and girls who come on here gloating out their opinions from the east of the City. That's why boards like this one are by and large so useful. We moan and groan and enquire whether there's a Weatherspoon's in Rochdale or Keighley, but we still back the club we love.
Adam Pearson may finance it and boy am I glad he has done over the past 12 years, but in the end it's our bloody club!!! That's a fact, so for me we have to dig in and try to give Pearson, Clark, Smith and the "Culture Club' out on the field all the support we can and as our owner says, judge them by where we are as a team at the end of the season. For many people it appears both inside and outside the club this is feeling a bit like the last chance saloon. At present for me Survival will be enough Just my view of course and no doubt up for being shot down as usual.

Yeah great but i live in the north east now - Coming to the HKR game cost me over £250 with hotel and it was utter dross. I could of had a nice night away somewhere far better for that money. If thjere was 15000 FC fans at that games with half paying for tickets id hazard a guess that not one fo those will be buying tickets again in a hurry. Ive spent £200 on FC clobber as well this season that im now embarrassed to wear. Thats how low a lot of fans are feeling. Totally let down

IMG also dont seem keen on more overseas teams and it seems Toulouse have some financial challenges, so can see a no being said there too.
Our trump card is IMG wont want to lose 10k fans and a good stadium from their shiny new project.
But staying up through default or franchise games would be embarassing and we need the players to sort themselves out and restore some pride.
I don't think Fev would have spent the money they have on their squad this year if their ground isn't good enough for super League, I've never been but you'd think if Cas' can be a top flight ground, so can Fevs. Toulouse's biggest problem is they have to pay for each team to travel to them, which Catalan dont, so they're at a 500k a year disadvantage to other teams in the league,.hopefully something IMG can address if they do get a license. The French teams do seem to do better off the field than UK teams, Catalan attracted €5m this year in sponsorship, something we could only dream of currently

Fev definetely need need new Floodlights but that should be fairly simple to solve, other stands were second hand from Scarborough and even that is many years ago now. I just cant see IMG wanting Cas, Wakefield (with new stands) or Hull to drop for Fev. And this isnt a normal year for the sport theyve made it quite clear they intend to pick and choose who is coming into SL.
The pressure of playing Wakefield in a relegation dogfight with a team full of bottlers doesn't fill me with any hope what so ever . Get that 90's feeling again .

Our only chance to stay up is to get the team right (which I don't think Smith knows yet), this will hopefully include no Mcintosh, Lane, Lovodua and playing players who work hard like Cator for longer minutes.
Need to get the spine playing, nearly impossible to win with your first choice 1,6 and 7.
