I thought that is the job of the captain is that not Brandon Moore?

My Humble Opinion Only - let the knockers begin.

As much as you may be right, the fact is our pack is built to play in decent weather and has been for a number of seasons. It's not just a coincidence that we are slow starters pretty much every season but always seem to gather up enough momentum through the summer to get a decent league placing. I expect the same to happen again this season as it seems to be rinse and repeat of the last few seasons but in my opinion with nearly half of the season been played in poor conditions, especially good chance the main part is, then we need to have a balance for that as well and we simply do not have that and the style of rugby we play is horrible in those conditions as we have seen this season. For me that is soley down to the coach, trying to play dry weather condition rugby on nights like last Monday is just down right stupid, even full time players would struggle never mind part time ones and to me that is just down to a coach who is too stubborn to change.

Grix stubborness can be seen in how he continues to use Will Maher, can you imagine if Eribe Dorro or previously Ryan King or Springer were putting in performances like that? They were dropped straight away with excuses given about poor attitude or whatever yet we continuously watch someone play 20 minutes each game, do absolutley nothing, and get picked the following week. I can't believe what I am going to say is possible but there is no way he has it written in his contract that he must play every week he is fit can he? I mean thats such a stupid idea I don't think for one second it could be true but I just can't see how he justifies his place and can't understand Grix usage of him.

How do you see this unfolding in the future. Because if he doesn't change we will not progress as a team we will more than likely go backwards. Will he get frustrated and think he can not take the team any further forward and leave or will the board say this is not good enough and give him the boot. Just a point on the board from what they said at the fans forums they think Simon is one of the best coaches in the league so you would think he would have there backing. But for me this ongoing problem in the pack needs sorting one way or another.

The sort of forward most people seem to want - big but still dynamic going forward are unfortunately mainly going to be playing in superleague - unless you're prepared to take a risk on superleague forward coming to end of their career. A massive risk as York and to some extent Featherstone found out last year. We might see one exception to this on Sunday - always been really impressed by Bailey Antrobus who I think is just on a one year contract with York.

I too have been impressed by Bailey Antrobus at York he would for me be very welcome to join us. But it doesn't have to be a big forward for me just someone who runs like they want to burst a tackle as we saw with James Donaldson on Monday he is not the biggest but he runs hard.

You could add Scurr from Bradford to that list - saw him warming up and he looked like a small stocky schoolboy - then came on and ran in like a train straight through our pack.

I honestly don't know. We just sit back and continue to enjoy the ride. :D

You don t always need oversized forwards as has been noted, however you do need guys running hard into the line when being passed to, it is hard to stop a player at pace then one just getting into his stride, an amount of bravery too, it is a pity some of our bigger guys don t have the ‘ balls’ like Salty or Wombat to name but two who will run into brick walls all day long,
