I really don't know what's going on, every week we watch the same thing, Simon grix acknowledges we give away to many cheap penalties and try and force it, then week after week we are doing it again? Are we not working on these things in training because I cant see a change week on week.
He signed some size; Will Maher, the worst prop I have seen at this club in many a year. I would rather have someone like Foster or Oakley in the squad with Tangata at Prop than see Maher anywhere near the 18 for the rest of the year. How he can get rid of Arundel for not performing and keep starting Maher is beyond me.
Brandon Moore looks like a broken man, offers no threat so markers can just step out to tackle our forwards. We look like a different team when Inman comes on.
Its beginning to look like last year was all the work of Scott and Liam Finn. This year is identical to the abysmal years either side of covid under Grixy. He appears too stubourn to make adjustments when what is on the field clearly isnt working.

Will watch it back at some point but i'm undecided if I should describe the 1st half as laughable or shambolic. Grix must literally have been tearing his hair out over that first 40 minute performance talk about trying to hand a team a game on a plate. How on earth we ended up anywhere near them after all that is at least a testment that there is a decent team in there someone. Each week Will Maher goes up in my estimation, presuming he gets his full wage for just playing 20 minutes each week the man must be a genius either that or have an excellent agent. And to think that Springer was too lazy for our team.

Bulls had a decent pack, bolstered by several loanees who ran and tackled hard - in view of the number of our mistakes that was all they needed to do. Our outside backs looked as though given any decent ball they could have done something- indeed almost every time they did get this we either scored or at least looked dangerous. As has been said above Keyes looks to have lost all confidence- unfortunately this is also feeding into his goalkicking. Some can still hold their head up after tonight - thought Maizen had his best game, Walmsley tackled anything that moved and took his try well. Also thought Murray had a decent game. Final thought - I know lots have been clamouring for a massive forward- Maher must have been the biggest man in the field - conversely the most dynamic forward on the field was Donaldson - probably one of the smallest forwards.
The brain farts seem to becoming a regular part of our gameplan . Makes me wonder if we’re just trying to hard but the errors and penalties are becoming a problem. There’s obviously some skillful and talented lads playing for us but our mentality seems to be way off . We’re miles off the playoff team of last year and at this rate won’t be making them .
We are not a bad team we scored good tries. The ref was awful for both sids so Much missed. We lost the game through giving too Many penalties and six again at the ruck. And our main downfall this season, soft tries on the line. The bulls kick through try was well done but allowing players to crash over from is appalling. Where has our goal line defence enthusiasm gone from last season? This is slowly turning out to be a bad year. Maizen is so fast. We need to give him more space to run he is as fast if not faster than Wombat. Those two could be deadly if they are not spending their time defending because of ill discipline and bad game choices.

This sums it up well. Add on the usual discipline problems, repeating mistakes and Mr Grant's obvious dislike of Fax and there you have it. The game as a whole was summed up for me when 15 minutes from the end Bradford took a Huddersfield player off and brought a Leeds player on. Totally dissolutioned.
