A couple missing too in Moy and Armstrong, as I've said if we can't get a few top SL players out of this bunch, we might as well give up. One thing I like about the academy and reserves is we have potential SL players in all positions. There doesn't look a position of weaknesses. It's about time after years of not producing players, mainly hindered by Pearsons worst decision the COHA.
I like the fact we scout outside of Hull too, a few brought in recently from other parts of Yorkshire.
for the doom and gloom surrounding the first team its nice to see our youth sides performing well. I wont pretend that i've seen them play in the flesh but the highlights and scorelines make for impressive viewing. There seems to be a greater focus on the development of our youth with support from experienced coaches/former player in Riding and Shenton.
All super league sides that have dominated over the years (Leeds golden generation and current Saints squad are the obvious two) are built on a core of seriously good young players mixed with good recruitment from overseas. Getting that balance is key for us over the next few years and i am glad it is clear this is the direction we are aiming for.

Do Hudds have an academy game, this shouldn't be allowed to happen, they have the biggest squad in SL, teams should be fined for not cancelling fixtures.
Is this continues to happen the reserve league will never be taken seriously.
