Strange, we keep going after reserve players from rival clubs expecting the outcome of games to change, but then let one of our more aggressive props go.

Not for me, much of a muchness really. Thought Butler had gone ok myself when given the chance but there you go.

I agree with this another shot in the dark! . If all these players were good enough to sign how come we are shipping them out. what a boost for butlers confidence at a time when we should trying to galvanise the squad

Because he needs to get game time and he's behind Whitbread, Eseh, Battye...arguably Atoni and Bowden now he's back.
That's the point of loaning them out.

I’m hoping we see Rob Butler continue his development and come back ready to push into first team.

I think Butler has gone solid this year and think we will see him in the 17 again soon.
