Correct, no blaming the officials for that one. We are just garbage, end of.

Sorry but I laid this out weeks before the season even started, Applegarth is not a SL standard Coach, he coaches by numbers and hasn’t got the width or depth of knowledge to craft a winning team at SL level. I got the usual derision but the proof is there for us all to see.

He should never have been appointed but he positioned himself for the job, however now he should go

I think there’s another week in there for Apelgarth but Leigh at home has to yield a win.

Some drastic changes needed but it’s absolutely glaring after tonight where the problems lay.

9, 11, and 13.

Kershaw had a couple of missed tackles but I was more dissapointed with Senior and how he took the bombs but just cantered it up a few times.

Lino and Smith need to stay at 6,7. There was no issue there tonight for me and both created issues.

We seriously need some attacking guile at 13, better distribution at 9 and some edge forward strike power.

Ashurst, Hood, Senior and Crowther out after tonight.

Gaskell I’m thinking at 13 next week for some attacking options and hands/Link up or even Bowes who has played there many times in the reserves (though I’d prefer him at 9).

8. Bowden
9. Bowes
10. Whitbread
11. Tanginoa
12. Pitts
13. Gaskell

14. Proctor
15. Eseh
16. Butler
17. Kay

Appelgarth may as well mix things up at this point.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.

Lets be honest tonight Cas didn't even have to good to beat us, they just had to complete and kick into position. We have absolutely no idea what to do with the ball. The problem is Lino is having to do everything by himself becuse of a complete lack of ability in the spine elsewhere. Smith alongside him might just get squad number as cover somewhere else in super league but a starting half at this level he isn't. Dagger is bang average, Hood painfully slow and Kay a one trick pony from dummy half that doesn't work with our powder puff props. Throw in a succession of hit it up loose forwards and there is your problem right there. Add to that a coach who is out of his depth and relegation is looming large.

Neither half plays at the line.

We had enough possession and field position to score points but if both halves run sideways then we are goosed.

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

Gaskell would get mullered at loose, he doesn't have the workrate required to play in the middle. He can play centre instead of Reece Lyne for me. Sadly he looks a shadow of his former self. I'm as disappointed in Kershaw as i am Senior. For me he's almost got a bit too big and lost some of that sharpness he had. He runs it in hard but thats about it but he still makes some poor calls defensively and he doesn't strike me as a natural finisher.

I also don't think Butler will be available next week, hearing he is off to Bradford on loan unless we pull it after that tonight.

As a half you can only play at the line if you have support runners running good lines off your shoulder and some shape out the back rather than having most of the team having hands on hips blowing out of their backside 20 meters behind play.

Butler is not or never will be a SL player, but in all fairness we have about 4 or 5 I would put In front of him in the loan queue. No1 obviously Lineham, next couple would be high paid players with Aussie accents.

No as a half you can drag the team forward.

Sick of seeing Lino take the wrong option.

At first receiver you go forward, not sideways like ours do.

You're probably right but I actually don't think he's been that bad when given the chance this year and he'd be down the list for me as well. Put it this way other than dropping the ball our new big lad from Huddersfield didn't do a great deal did he?
