I don't think he'll ever be ready., and that's OK, not everyone in the game is cut out to be a SL coach, just like most players aren't cut out to be SL players
But he backed himself for the job knowing that he didn't have the skill set needed to deliver - or even more worryingly - believed that he did actually have the skill set.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Hard to disagree with this. Carter has really spoiled it for himself too. He wanted his legacy to be saving the club and delivering a new stadium - but his actual legacy is going to be one of hamstringing the squad to the point we are likely to be relegated
