If we could get Philbin in for Sao or Satae, I'd be happy, particularly I it was a long term deal.

I'd also take Edwards on a short term deal for Lovodua.

Would give us a quota spot too and if we could release Shaul or loan out someone like Wynne we could bring in another forward like Alvero.

You will remember and when i was a young kid we had a coach called Brian Smith who inherited a bunch of very average players yet he molded that team into a team that competed because the defense was so good.
As a coach coming in to a poop squad (your words not mine) defense should have been the priority.
Dont forget i was happy to see Smith come in but what he has done so far is disappointing. The same is what i think of Hoy disappointing and as i have said when Litten went to full back recently following a re shuffle he showed more in 20 mintues than i have seen from Hoy

We lost our first three games under Brian Smith and six out of the first nine. We were in the bottom four for the first four months of the season. It took him time to get the team playing the way he wanted. I imagine in those early months there were some supporters thinking we'd made a mistake bringing him in as coach.

Just shows how far this club has fallen when we are being linked with Vete and Kenny Edwards

Would hope the Edwards rumour has no legs. Smith talks about trying to improve our discipline and defence, signing Edwards would make us worse.

He can be a handful, but more often than not he's a liability.

He's contracted until 25 too, I hope he stays at Cas to see his deal out

Philbin on the other hand has the potential to be a good signing.

Philbin would be a step in the righjt direction but can't see us signing him.especially now Mikalele has gone back to Australia.

Only way I could see it is if Sao or Satae head there, but it does seem a long shot

As a Warrington fan a swap isn't impossible.... Satae or sao need a freshen up as they don't become bad players just like that ... Philbin could probably go and do a good non quota job for you .... I still think we are after tanginoa first though as the target

Hull want Tanginoa also, but Wakefield won’t let him go at any price until at least end of the season

Wire or FC. Wonder where Tanginoa would choose to if given the option?
