Cant see us doing much as our Messiah Tony Smith has said he is happy with the current squad.
Is this guy for real?

Are YOU for real? Do you honestly expect him to say any different to the media? What is he says he’s not happy & names the positions he wants to improve & then we don’t manage to get any players in? Look as daft as you do then wouldn’t he?

Which goes to show that the big problem Hull have is a playing squad we need rid of.Hodgson might not have been the long term answer but he certainly wasn’t the problem, and looks like Tony Smith is realising this too

Never mind the bollox, bring on the rugby:

Who would you have liked to have been appointed coach instead. I'm not being sarcastic.

I have to disagree. Part of the problem is the appalling recruitment under his tenure. And he must shoulder at least some of the blame.

Smiths having abit of class isnt he, not airing dirty laundry in public, doesnt mean we l not see changes. The players have downed tools already but how will we attract new players if the coach starts hammering his players in the press.

Hes dropped Evans, Mcintosh, Lane, Lovodua and Savelio so isnt sat on his hands. Give the guy time he l sort it in a dignfied manner

All time low bagging rites even for you. 7 games in with a sh!te squad he’s inherited and you lambaste him. Tex Hoy is your new focus, makes a change from hammering the centres. I’ve said it before and will say it again, your not a supporter just a whinger, your posts on this and other threads, over the last day prove that. I for one have been downcast but as the day gets nearer the old FC in me says we’re gonna win a close Derby.

Look its not just the 7 games though is it.He has had a full pre season with these players and i think we all agree they are not as fit as other teams, have forgotton how to tackle or cant be bothered, and the defense is a shambles
You will remember and when i was a young kid we had a coach called Brian Smith who inherited a bunch of very average players yet he molded that team into a team that competed because the defense was so good.
As a coach coming in to a poop squad (your words not mine) defense should have been the priority.
Dont forget i was happy to see Smith come in but what he has done so far is disappointing. The same is what i think of Hoy disappointing and as i have said when Litten went to full back recently following a re shuffle he showed more in 20 mintues than i have seen from Hoy

If you want to trawl my posts you will see i was happy with Smith appointment.
My concern is after a full pre season with these players and not just the seven games they are getting worse not better
