The big question is why would Wakefield sanction the move if we’re getting whitbread
I can see Catalan doing it: they’re getting a big boppa who can skittle defenders
We’re getting an efficient forward who can shore up our D. At the expense of our go forward.
But Wakefield lose one of their best players to a team around them and don’t appear to have anyone lined up.
I’m so disappointed in how Joey has turned out, looked like he could be the ideal utility player but he’s playing out of position and been exposed to frequently. If he wasn’t a quota spot I would probably give him till end of season to fix his form but he’s not.
I’d be trying to offload him to cas/wakey instead of letting Satae go. Cas only seem to have mcshane and have been putting Lawler at hooker. A player like Joey should be on their wish list.

Do you mean Nathan Mason? That’s only a two week loan. Who in the right mind would let one of their top players leave for a 2 week loan that might not be extended. Wakey also currently have the cap to run them both so why wouldn’t they
