Job done. Scored some nice tries against a spirited Midlands team. Holmes, Lilley and Butler played well after a lacklustre opening 40 mins.

Was Lilley better at 9? And will Holmes go well at 6 in the league? How did Turgut play?

JT did well. He was probably one the stand out forwards today alongside Butler and Scur. Plenty of ring rust but that’s expected. Dunning mentioned in his post-match conference that Turgut is on a short term deal that he wants to extend.

To say Turgut was a physical wreck with so many broken bones he certainly didn't hold back and drove the ball in very strongly. Could be a good pick-up.

Will someone correct me. I didnt see AJ come off the bench. Just the middles rotated. Am i wrong?

Correct, Wallace was an unused sub. I don't think Baldwinson did many mins either. Played a section of the first half and I don't think he returned.

Stupid that, having an unused sub and a short minute prop. Could have give minutes to Green in the middle and some one like Camden off the bench when the game was done at 40-12 for Holmes to reduce the risk of an injury to him.

Green played in the reserves to be fair, otherwise I think Dunning would have given him a run out. With injuries and not having a huge squad, I'd imagine some played in the reserves who Dunning would have liked to have played against Midlands.

I think Wallace was an unused sub and Baldwinson on reduced minutes as I think they're the only two who have played every game this year so Dunning obviously wanting to do some rotation.
