Not seen the game, bur Hoys stats look good, but his effort on Drinkwater was poor. Rovers fans seem to have a weird obsession with him. Think he will come good, particularly if the pack starts to play.
Their first 4 trys, 2 of them were from really good kicks which are hard to stop, a poor miss from Lovodua and a drop ball.
We’re going to have to ride this out with the players we have, as just dropping young players into a struggling team will just do more harm than good. This isn’t Smiths first rodeo, and if anyone thinks that he is calm and passive behind the scenes then they’re deluded. Also our great pack and team of 2016 didn’t have a great start. They had to lock the coach out of the dressing room, and come from 20 points down in a derby to kick start that particular season. Difference is then we had leaders on the field. Now there aren’t any. This must be Smiths most difficult job yet?

Rovers fans will constantly bring up his comment pre season about striving for top 4 or to win the league, and make fun of it. I don't understand why. Every single team in the league, Wakefield included, are trying to finish top 4. We've been absolute awful. Doesn't mean we wasn't ever trying to get top 4.

Did Pearson not see warrington last year with 15 off contract?
I think it includes a handful of kids from the extensive fringes of their squad. But they do have a lot of experienced, more recognisable players OOC as well.

According to the HDM didn’t Tex say something along the lines of “ Rovers wouldn’t win a Derby whilst he was at FC”. Which if he did say that it was a very silly thing to say about any club.
