Agree on the papering over the cracks, can see it already, if we somehow manage to win it’ll be milked to oblivion, then get tonked by Leeds the week after

Can't see us winning no matter what team we put out, but I think having a few younger kids who are out to impress would put the effort in over the players currently just going through the motions.
Like the sentiment but Abdull would kick Wakecoke to death if he’s played on the wing Need someone a bit more experienced at this stage.

This topic reeks of desperation from the Airlie Birds. The fans attempting to look like they have the willingness to lose this pivotal Humberside Derby and it will mean nothing, when in reality they are desperate to win this game against their fierce rivals from across the River. Mrs Barista and ComeOnYouUll getting the lame excuses in speaking to oneself. A victory for the Airlie Birds would paper over the cracks and would be welcome breathing space to the under fire head Coach Smith and desperate Chairman Pearson. The academy full back Hoy will be missing for the Humberside Derby and that will benefit the Black and Whites. Desperate times and the win is vital for the Airlie Birds as fans are frustrated and are losing patience.

I know everything can happen, but i see absolutely no chance of us winning this, in fact I can only see an easy Rovers win, they have better players and desire.
If Hoy is fit, got to try him at 6.If not I'd play Carlos there, no ideal, but him at 6 and Wynne at centre, with Mitch on the wing would make us stronger defensively.
Balmforth at 6 (where ge played for the reserves) is also an option.
