That comment by Smith about the second half was the last straw for me
I seriously dont think his heart is in the job. There is no anger, no passion.
He will make it easy for Pearson and walk away

Don't talk nonsense. He was never going to turn it around in seven games and he's not the sort of coach who is going to lose his rag on live TV. That doesn't mean his heart isn't in it.

Don't know why it's difficult for some people to realise what Smith says infront of the cameras and what he says behind them will be different things.

7 games in and people are already calling for him to be sacked is pathetic.

Smith has been in this game for a long time and I've never seen him be anything but measured in front of the camera or when talking to the press. Why would he change that approach now?

I’ve said this regularly
Of the 20 out of contract - only renew 3

simple as that

pick the 3 at the end of the season

there is a cancer in the Club

AP also is the Boss and Chief Exec - a lot of it now clearly lies with him !!!!!

I have lost interest

But the same players not up to it are still in the team week after week

Send a statement out and play some youngsters

I am not just talking about 7 games i am talking about what he has also done with the team in Pre season.
The seven games we have seen say its been very little apart from producing an unfit squad who have lost the ability to tackle

We've just got a lot of players who aren't good enough

We've gone from having players like ellis minchello manu in our pack not that long ago to players like fash Griffin and lane

Even savelio isn't close to them players at their best

Smith and Pearson now have a great chance to get rid of the deadwood that are out of contract

But question is will he ? Cause worry is I can see a fair few getting new deals :|

Quite easily, pound for pound, the worst hull side I’ve seen in my 20 years of watching them.

I think it sums up that 20 of them are OOC and they genuinely don’t look interested in earning a new contract, not that I’d want to keep them anyways, but at least some effort and desire.

Lovodua simply isn’t a half back, I sympathise with him to a degree that he’s been asked to do a job he simply can’t do but even his defence is poor. I never thought I’d be desperate for McNamara to be fit but here we are…

Really wanted Tex to do well here, and he still might, but he just seems like a young lad who wants to go back home. And in all honestly I couldn’t blame him. Shame about his injury, and hopefully nothing too serious, but it may spark the reshuffle in our spine we need.

Seeing quite a few posts showing sympathy towards AP and the DJ, mine only stretches so far, they were happy to sign up some of these clowns to their deals at the time. They are not rugby people who started to get involved in rugby decisions. Their naive approach to not replacing Motu Tony is what has found us in the position we are in and they only have themselves to blame for where we are.

To sum up, we are big time screwed, bleak times when you’re watching out for Wakey’s result each week…
