The players are taking the P*ss !

The actual team wasn’t that bad, Casey was the problem. Once he left we weren’t too bad, didn’t we beat Wigan at home towards the end of the season.

The last few years of poor recruitment / retention / culture are all coming home to roost this year.
We look disinterested and clueless. Some of the biggest earners are the ones who are not putting the effort in.

I’m really struggling to maintain interest not just in my club, but in the game generally.

Go to boxing then and watch the YouTube fights or go to snooker and watch the match fixing ......

well I have a lot of respect and a lot of sympathy for Tony Smith but sometimes when I hear his post match summing up I wonder if he's watching the same game as me. In fact I think Dan Tomlinson summed things up better today when he said, "A horrendous first half showing" and "What was in all honesty a hopeless first half showing" As those of you who have known me over the years know I don't diss the team at all they are my team and will be to the day I die but this is just unacceptable stuff to be dished up so early in a season.

Yeah I agree I meant that performance where he called the players out. Those players won’t have been on anything like the money this lot are on either.

Not that they necessarily deserve it, but I think it's his way of trying to deflect things and protect the players.

He'll know this. It'll just be media talk from him.

He not going to go on live TV and slate the team and nor should he.
