Wouldn't get in saints team now that's miles better than when Savelio played for them

This is the problem our fans think our players are better than they are

Savelio is ok but injury prone that's why I'd get rid

You might want to get rid of him and and sign a better player but the salary cap needs to be taken into account.

Savelio is a risk injury wise but he is a very good player.

Agreed, the only issue with Savelio is his injury record and the associated risk, for the right deal he is very much worth the gamble.

We can't realistically replace every player in one off season unless someone comes along with a shed full of money and the player pool available somehow expands.
Think we definitely need to realistically and at the very least look at 3 new quota players to replace Evans, Lovodua and Sao, 2 line breaking/metre making forwards, a quality 2nd rower, a 9 if Balmforth isn't ready and/or Dwyer doesn't stay and find some pace out wide.

I'd be very surprised if TS hadn't already started the process of potential targets for the off season reshuffle even before he was officially announced.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Taylor probably been our best prop this year.

Nor in the case of Griffin would he have been made captain in Tuimavave's absence.

We have about 15 players out of contract so we don't need any team to sign them just let the dross go

Plenty of young nrl and gems in the championship we should be looking at that route

Walmsley, hill, Joe Batchelor look how they turned out

I rate Halton at them aswell plenty of good players in the championship who are more than good enough for super league waiting for a shot

The added issue is with us having so many players OOC and such a major overhaul of the squad that many clubs/agents will more than likely up the asking prices knowing the situation.

What I( would like to see though is any player that is brought in to the club moving forward moves to within a certain radius of the club and get away from players commuting daily.

But players commute daily at every club

Probs not a bad thing living outside of hull

Players like Houghton and taylor thinking they are the most famous people from hull esp Houghton hogging the sky interviewers win or lose

What a sack of sh.ite you talk. I live near Danny Houghton you couldn't come across a more unassuming bloke if you tried.

Do you even know how the Sky interviews are decided or are you just making unwarranted assumptions?
I don't recall seeing him interviewed last time we were on Sky.

Also what has our status as big club or NRL crowds got to do with Danny Houghtons supposed hogging of interviews?

Perhaps a bit unrealistic but Fc should bring in

Jack ashworth
James bell
Daryl Clark
Sione Matautia
Dan norman

Let go

Joe Lovodua, Kane Evans, Mitieli Vulikijapani, Jamie Shaul, Danny Houghton Jude Ferreira.

I’d also watch Jordan Lanes form and if it doesn’t improve ship him out to wakey in championship lol

Maybe keep on cheap 1 year deals
Scott Taylor
Brad dwyer (not sold on his defense)

Players we need to keep an eye on their form (but If I was pushed to make a decision now I would keep)

Chris satae
Ligi Sao

We should look to be bringing in players from a winning culture. And ones that can add some venom in Defense and attack. I’d then look at picking up a few players from the championship with a point to prove

Quoting NRL attendances is a mute point completely considering the NRL is the biggest and most watched sport in Australia by some margin. Considering we are one of 2 SL teams in the same City and still have one of the biggest fan bases its fair to say we are a big club in the sport in this country, as many within the game attest too we are a sleeping giant.
