Playing Carlos at 6 who hasn't played at 6 for over 5 years isn't brightest idea
He also wasn't that good at 6 either
Centre is the only place he should play

Risked against what?
He is not supposed to have a physical injury
Anyone know what his problem is?

In what respect?
