Up next our bogey team, Sheffield, in what is the start of a run of crucial fixtures against teams who will be hoping to finish around us in the play-offs.

Always seems to struggle against these and they've been flying recently. Can't see there being much in it.

Tough game this one. Hope the pitch is better by then. It was a total bog yesterday. The corresponding fixture last year was bloody awful and we showed no appetite for getting stuck in. I expect better this time.

We could do with Lawrence back for this. I'd pick Scurr too as it will be a game where the forwards will decide it.

The way Lawrence limped off vs Fev, I think Scurr could just be swapping straight in for him. Similar team as against Fev. Maybe Tindall back again. Possibly a middle from Leeds also

I'd be surprised if Thompson plays so soon after his 2nd concussion in a row.

We'll miss Lawrence's defence, endurance and leadership if he's out. Scurr does look miles fitter than last year though.

I thought there was some rule about successive concussions in a period of time. Losing both Thompson and Lawrence will be a blow but with Butler and Scurr to come in, shows our strength in depth. Can see this being a fiery one.

Lots of former Bulls players in the Sheffield team who will be looking to get one over their old club. I assume Joel Farrell will be on the wind up as per usual.

Joel Farrell will definitely be on the wind up as usual so we need to keep our heads and not get sucked in. Luckily we have senior heads like GF sr to keep it calm…

This will be a tough game with the Eagles soaring, they will fancy their chances. Put in the effort we did v Fev and Toulouse (wowza!) and we won’t be far away

If Lawrence and Thompson are unavailable. I’d go:

Holmes
Blackmore
Arundel
Gill
Tindall
Patton
Lilley
Rodgers
Flanagan
Foster
Wallace
Butler
Appo

Roby
Scurr
Baldwinson
Johnson

Baldwinson can fill in at 13 if Appo needs a break.

I think Roby copped a 1 match ban but I don't know if it starts from this weeks game.
