2017: Houghton, Griffin, Taylor, Fash and Shaul and Carlos who are yet to play this year.
2018: Lane and Scott got squad numbers as youngsters. 2019 Savelio joined the club.
So thats 9 players with 4 years plus experience of a bad culture. And some of the younger players will have been about in the youth teams. Is that too many still sticking around?
The other person who has been a constant throughout those years but gets overlooked is Gaz Ellis. Either as a ‘leader’ on the pitch or as defence coach. Absolutely loved him as a player but may be time for a change of scenery for him.

Still achieved more at Hull than most SL owners.
Yes but success some time ago. As FC fans have posted there has been a steady decline in recent years.
What Hudge has or has not done at Rovers or any other chairman in SL for that matter is irrelevant when discussing the responsibility for FC’s present woes.
Pearson has made the decisions about coaching appointments and surely had input into the length of contracts if not the players themselves.
Said it before and il say it again the Hull clique needs to go.
Taylor, Houghton just not there mentally and havnt been for a long time.
Griffin , Lane , Fash, Sao are all liabilities when the going gets tough along with the above 2 , either start falling off tackles, stop attempting to even make them or give cheap pens and 6 agains away.
Im not buying into the Fash fan club, gives ridiculous 6 agains away along with Lane consistently putting us under pressure often on the 4th and 5th tackles. Been going on a long time now.
Then we have the not good enoughs. Kane Evans and Joe Lovodua have done nothing to warrant using a quota spot on them. Massively under performed. Id add Cameron Scott who also has huge question marks over his defence, often making silly reads and getting caught out.
Id keep
Hoy Mcintosh Carlos Sutcliffe Swift Trueman Clifford Satae Dywer Brown Sao Cator
And build from there , the rest can be moved on for me, as i said a mixture of poor attitudes, below averageness and just dumb mistakes/plays/reads consistently.
Squad needs gutting now. And id be asking big questions about whos been making the judgements for recruitment and retention as its been shocking. Especially the quota spots and the born in hull brigade with all of them way way over rated. Hoping Shenton changes that.

Of course it isn't. Otherwise what can you judge Pearson on.
As Dave says, he had made some errors same as other owners/chairmen however he has achieved more success than most of his counterparts including Hudgell.

You seem to have very little understanding of running a club.
Hull FC’s present situation is down to Pearson’s decision making and no one else. He is judged on team performance which is often dire. It does not need to be compared to any other club to see the intrinsic failings over the past few years.
For example, he appointed Hodgson as coach. As mentioned above by an FC fan everyone of his signings performed poorly. He allowed long contracts to be signed. See how that worked with Taylor. Again as posted Lane is poor but he is with you until the end of 2025. Over the past few years you have had far more very heavy defeats than any other club in SL.
I could go on but what is the point as you have proved over manny postings you are not prepared to listen to any other point of view. You tend to just jump into a discussion with an unrelated response.
Do not come back about me being a Rovers fan and so trying to score points. Every point I have made has been put on this forum by an FC fan.

When Pearson took over from previous owners when things looked pretty bleak, possibly existentially bleak… Hull fans can probably recall the details better than me. That gets you a lot of credit with fans. Possibly even more than the cup wins, which while obviously joyous for Hull fans maybe raised expectations a little too high.
Chairmen make good decisions and bad decisions. Money increases the impact of the former and smooths over the latter. Pearson is neither infallible nor an idiot. Hull just don’t look to have great finances now. They’re not rich enough to buy time but not poor enough to be forced into the type of urgency that can be galvanising.
'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.
It will be pretty difficult to move on contracted players , Other clubs would have seen that performance and quite rightly wouldn't touch any of them .

That is exactly what you are trying to do and why you disappear when things are going well with Hull.
