You don't bring the biggest away support but you always make plenty of noise. A strong big city club like Salford can only be good for the game. What's the latest on the stadium?
Genuinely was blown away with the experience yesterday, no away trip has come close without the result it would have been the same, TBH I went expecting a heavy loss 54-6 I predicted purely as we usually play FC away early doors when you start the season on fire before you spectacularly implode later on in the season.
On our support it is getting bigger and bigger it's a bug bear of mine I know we have a 4/5k fanbase but unlike a lot of "big" clubs we usually take our fair share away this season over 2k to Leigh not many less to Wire both sky games, when we have teams like Leeds who have 15k supporters bring a couple of hundred to our ground, KR brought a couple of hundred the other week. What killed our support to yourselves was super league giving it away for £4.95 It cost me £60 for me and my son on tickets and the coach.
On the stadium Salford council have decided to take full ownership so our future there looks secure and we won't have to go and swop with that to$$er Neville at Moor Lane
Anyway good luck and playing Saints next is probably a good thing as they are not at their best just yet with the hangover of Aus and suspensions etc. I'd happily play them now !!
