Another fun day to be had by all yesterday just depressing, we usually wait until at least June before these performances start to happen.
How many times, since the start of the 2018 season (when the rot first began), have we conceded 50pts? I confess, I've lost count!
We change the coach, we change the players, we change the backroom staff, but no-one seems capable of stopping these capitulations from happening.
Four head coaches, if we include Last, and still we have to sit there watching these horror shows unfold. Something badly wrong is obviously deeply entrenched at the club for it to be happening with this regularity. All teams can have a bad day, that's the nature of modern-day rugby, but we have them too often for it to be explained away as simply a bad day at the office.
Only time will tell if TS is the man to root out this malaise once and for all, we will have an answer to that over the coming months, but this morning it feels like nothing has changed since the dreadful second half of last season.
I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.
Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.
I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.
A man who lives in hell can still aspire to heaven.
Whos been at the club for all these years of hammerings is interesting reading in my opinion.
2017: Houghton, Griffin, Taylor, Fash and Shaul and Carlos who are yet to play this year.
2018: Lane and Scott got squad numbers as youngsters. 2019 Savelio joined the club.
So thats 9 players with 4 years plus experience of a bad culture. And some of the younger players will have been about in the youth teams. Is that too many still sticking around?
Writing was on the wall against Cas when we shipped in 30 point in one half , Then nearly 40 points against the Dragons . The trajectory was only going one way !!. To pinch a line from Gus Gould ," they could declare by half time " next Friday .
