I’d be tempted to use the money saved and quota space freed up from Tetevano on a 1 or 6/7. We will still have Oledzki, Holroyd, Sangar, Lisone and Walters to take us forwards, so the money would be better spent elsewhere and buy a big lump
From the Championship and develop them or one of the kids is 6th prop.

We need more pace at the back and in the halves, not more front row size.

It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

The problem with not replacing Tetevano though is that I'm not sure who other than Mik is a real starting prop. Maybe Walters or Holroyd in time

I’d continue starting Holroyd, he can do the tough stuff, can play decent minutes and is already getting better with more game time and responsibility.

Oledzki and Holroyd starting, one off after 20 and one of Sangare / Lisone / Walters on, then another switch 10 mins later as the opposition pack starts to tire.

Is this the start of the of the Tet must stay campaign? Seriously though, I know what you are saying. Now he's surrounded by somd some big lads he's cracking on with what he does best and looks a far better player for it.

Credit where its due, Tet has improved week on week and is putting in decent shifts. Unfortunately that is all they are, decent shifts. Not enough for a marquee spot but certainly not the liability he has been at some points last season

Playing Castleford at the right time. It appears there is trouble in the camp with Radford leaving and the team in free fall at the moment.

If his improvement continues it'd be on greatly reduced terms. He could probably get more as a 7th 8th choice in the NRL. Good to be in the position of control rather than desperately offering contracts out.

Seth wrote:So you now want 2 17+ Stone hookers?

No, you are putting words in my mouth now. I just think that a 13.5 stone and 14 stone hookers are too light for my liking.

I'd prefer to see bigger hookers, such as Buderus, Diskin, and Newton, who all have a couple of stone on Leeming, Johnson, and O'Conner.

Seth wrote:It's being scrutinised as you put it because it's simply nonsense. Tetevano is the lightest at 16.5 and Holroyd is over 17 so I'm not sure how you're getting an average of 16.5 (unless youre including the wingers of course).

Oledzki - 17 stone
Lisone - 17 stone
Holroyd - 17 stone
Tetevano - 16.5 stone
Gibbons - 16 stone
Ruan - 16 stone

(17+17+17+16.5+16+16)/6 = 16.5833333333 stone.

Seth wrote: You don't get many 18 St 2nd rows (ah for another Lauititi).

Four out of six of our second rowers weigh in at 15 stone. I'm not saying we need 18 stone second rowers, just a touch more bulk per man.

But again, I don't know why you are getting so anal about it. I prefer a pack on the heavier side, you don't, so what?

The beauty of the squad at the moment is the amount of youth. The younger guys, who also tend to be the lightest, are going to naturally fill out and put a little bulk on in the next couple of years.

What are you on about, our 6 props are Oledzki, Lisone, Tetevano, Holroyd, Sangare, and Walters. Why you've included Ruan and Gibbons 2 junior squad players is anyone's guess.

Because I've used every eligible player in the squad. The same as what Smith could.

If we had a bad run of front row injuries/suspensions they could be selected.

I'm sorry if that upsets you.

I'm going to leave it at that, as you seem only to want to pick at my posts because I have a differing opinion about things, rather than actually discuss anything.
