I'd maybe be having a look at Daniel Smith at Cas, can't imagine he'd be too expensive and would be a decent replacement for Evans (should he leave) he'd be a decent 4th/5th choice prop with a good offload and decent go forward.

With the dearth of good props at the club you advise signing someone to be 4/5th choice?

There is little point in replacing mediocrity with mediocrity. The aim of any signing is to improve the squad. If you only consider him to be 4/5th choice then he cannot be improving your squad as the 3 you consider to be above him are poor. What does that say about him?

Obviously a major overhaul is needed, but there are only handful of quota places to be filled. The problem may arise, if there aren't a lot of available home grown players to replace players who are OOC, so the reliant will be on young players, who may not be ready for SL. Then, I hope that James Clark is not negotiating contracts again, he might renew more 3 year deals.
