just a reality check on fclive from somebody who has relied on it for years living abroad. started off with all guns blazing - weekly shows with james clarke giving it his all interviewing players / coaches etc. unfortunately input has deteriorated over the years and we are now down to sporadic and delayed pre and post match interviews / highlights of 1st team and selective full match videos some times days after. was plenty of reserve / academy stuff late last season but reality is if you look at number of video plays ( viewing figures) some are ridiculously low for subscription only stuff ( like in tony smith rhinos post match =under 50 plays still) . Also not great play numbers on free stuff when you consider at least 15 k fans interested !

I was thinking last friday for first time about not subscribing again but could not resist pre catalans . It feels like really just backing the club with some minimal cash investment as nothing posted as yet , even with links from twitter to tony smith pre match interview. In stark contrast the catalans website and utube account has great quick highlights followed by extended highlights and feedback.

its only the TV but they seem to be relying heavily on twitter account to communicate with fans and no longer taking FClive .tv as main media platform.

more importantly i just hope the players pick themselves up quick form being beaten up by the bigger cats pack and we see a top performance next week. COYH .

Its pretty poor now and i have said previously that the club should revamp it and make it the first port of call for news so that fans buy into it and create a useful revenue stream.
I noticed in previous seasons when we were on the end of a real beating the full match replays were never put on and you may see it this time with the Catalan match.
The Leeds full match is still to appear and its not because of Sky.
Need to get away from all this twitter crap

Have to agree that the club communication to its fanbase and particularly its members is pretty poor overall. They are very good at pushing the merchandise but when it comes to general communication it seems to be a dirty word and it used to be one of the clubs big strong points. I think I even remember Wilf in the day of the Dentists Diary making reference to the decline in this area himself.

I had been tempted to pay for FC Live with the 50% offer for being a pass holder but when they can’t even be bothered to respond to emails or phone calls I gave up trying and decided to keep the money and do without.
