This is the reason I was cheering for Penrith and would for anyone against that mob. What wonderful World Champion ambassadors they are - absolutely classless. Their pathetic behaviour when beaten is probably why they're serial winners to be fair to them but they have to have a look at themselves.

I did chuckle after the WCC when I saw a post from a Saints fan saying SL should thank them for sticking it up the arrogant Aussies and then declaring Saints were going to win 10 SL titles in a row.

Thought it was a good game, Leeds may have shown a blueprint of beating saints ? Who I think we're half a second off last night, I think the travel and highs of winning the WCC are just taking their toll. Leading to the late hits and causing frustration leading to poor discipline.

Not been overly impressed with the reffing so far this year, it looks like there is a focus on late hits and head shots. Yet not consistent how saints did not get an 8 point try for an almost carbon copy of what we received the night before was just laughable. I don't expect the ref to see everything and don't think that seeing and penalising everything means consistent.,.but when two identical incidents are being reviewed by the video ref the same result should be found.

However it's saints so it's just hilarious

Saddened! wrote:I really don't think you can single out Saints fans as being in any way different. Fans of every club would have had a meltdown. Check the Salford fans after the semi when they felt hard done to, the Bradford fans on these forums after the Magic Weekend offside against Leeds at Cardiff. Our coaches get bricked most times we beat Warrington at the HJ, every club has the same fools.

So the actions of those particular Saints fans who confronted Sezer and Smith are justified by you, because of the behaviour of what other teams supporters in the past had done.

If we brick their coaches each time they beat us they should be grateful they all get home from semis and finals against us in one piece then.

Tbh I don't want to be seeing multiple 8 point tries per game, and thought the Watkins one you got was really harsh. But by far the most baffling thing about this was that the video ref for our game was literally the same guy that gave you guys two 8 point tries, 24 hours earlier! It's just baffling. I think a lot of the reffing I've seen so far this season has just been baffling in general. I can't think of a single super league ref that's actually any good.

He wasn't saying that at all lol, he's saying that every set of fans in the world has their section of muppets. It's hardly like Saints are any worse than any other set of fans

Just to be clear there is a significant proportion of Saints fans are bad winners and even worse losers!

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

In over twenty years watching RL on Sky Sports, I have never previously witnessed a baying mob hurling vitriolic abuse at the Man of the Match winner and the opposition coach during their on the pitch interviews.

The incident brings the game into disrepute and all of these "Fans" should be identified and banned as a punishment.

They've posted for many years on here, but have never condemned anything that's done by a saints fan, or saints player. Instead, they just bring up stuff from years back about other clubs players and supporters, rather than posting along the lines of "there's no need for that sort of behaviour", when it comes to any of their own. There won't be any praise given to your team from them heading your way, from them any time soon.

The ref stated to the video ref that he had it down as a penalty try if Percival hadn't managed to score a try.
That, I'm assuming, was for pulling back another saints player, before Percival got to it himself. There was no check for an eight point try, requested by the referee on that occasion. It seems that the on field ref has to make a request to the video ref, as I would have thought it should have been an eight point try, as it looked to me that Percival was fouled in the act of scoring.
