Well what's not to like? A decent win and a decent number through the turnstiles....long may both continue. The Speculator was the Round 1 BST winner with an eleven point haul.(note there's been a tweak to the scoring system confirmed on the sticky). BUT in real time and once Uncle Rico had found the little hand on his watch, they were pipped at the post by MorePlaymakrsNeeded with a dozen
The rest of us, like our visitors will hope for better times ahead

A stiffer test in Round 2 and again the P&B respond with another win to the delight of a decent travelling support. With a full programme and some excellent predicting karetaker is this weeks winner with 17 points although he was pushed all the way.

A couple of coupon busters this round and at half time, I and I'm sure I wasn't alone in thinking that we were heading that way ourselves. Top predicting from Mr Google himself ( I too checked out Toffo ha ha ) with 15 points the rest of us well there's always next week.

RD you certainly had Currie but your recorded try time prediction was 7 minutes. This would have bagged you an additional 4 points ordinarily.
However, I'm sure that we are both pleased in equal measure that I'm not your missus, because when you posted I could have responded with " WHAT TIME D'YA CALL THIS?" Same as the week before you were late at 9.01 PM.
Any problems please PM me I'd like to keep this thread 'clean'

Now then the Competition Results and Standings have been updated to reflect postings to the correct time and there's been some Winners and Losers as follows,
MorePlaymakersNeeded is in the Winners Enclosure having beaten The Speculator in Round 1 by a point. Sorry TS but you've 'lost' your bonus 10.
rubber duckie was not as late as we/i thought it was marginal especially the Salford game but late nonetheless and there is no change to his score
Sincere apologies to you all at least I've got to the bottom of it. Thanks for your help, there's never been an issue previously and I've never changed my settings

A decent win it was just a pity that there was no one there to see it as far as the Warrington Guardian, the Hull Daily Mail and HMRC are concerned. This weeks winners are Sir Adrian Morley and CW8 both with ten points each )No there are any bonus points for picking Leigh or correcting Uncle Rico's clock). The rest of well it's a prediction marathon not a sprint

An entertaining game that had a bit of everything, a barnstorming start and some ill disciplined chaos both on and off the pitch (there really is no need) that saw our opposition 'peg' us back at the end but it was all too little too late to push us into panic mode.
The winner this week is mcraven with a dozen closely followed by Bolton's finest Wanderer with ten. The rest of us 'Fordham Baldies' well it's a case of better luck next week

In the words of Lyall and Paton "Oh oh oh it's magic, you know when you win six in a row" another good performance and victory to nil in the Bank of Wire.
Talking of magic this week's winner is Walter Wizard the rest of us were a bit Tommy Cooper by varying degrees just like this,
