So after that very poor performance on monday night we move on to Batley. For me i do not care who plays or how we go about doing it i just want to see a performance full of conviction and endeavor from us with and without the ball. It will be interesting who we pick with Keyes being out and most of the team underperforming at Widnes. If we had a bigger squad i would be calling for wholesale changes to the side but we do not so hopefully a change in attitude will do. If i was in charge of Batley i would be telling them to come after us up the middle of the park and just keep going at us there and they will get there rewards. As for a result i will go for fax by 10 hoping that there is a response to the last game but that is not a given.
The lads look like their still playing at opposed session game level instead of the real thing, at the very least lets show some real grit, guts and aggression and if we go down go down fighting instead of flapping around.
However, If we as supporters (quite rightly ask for the players to giver their best) then as supporters lets give them our best, we're all in the same car and when it breaks down instead of abandoning the vehicle it's time to get out and push and there might be more than one hill to get over.

Wood might have to go into the halves with Keyes missing with Inman coming into the exchange 9 slot anyway. Maybe a doubt with Maizen who picked up an additional injury to his arm as well, not sure about anyone else.

Aye, when will we learn? Even if you were the most enthusiastic supporter of DR you'd have to admit our use of it has been an absolute shambles. I'm sure one poster on here will disagree though. As for the game, it's up to the players to show that Monday was a one off and without any outside distractions i'll go for a Fax win by 16. Up The Fax!
Hear All, See All, Say Nowt. Eat All, Sup All, Pay Nowt. And if Tha ever does Owt for Nowt, Allus do it for Thissen.

Amazing even when you get what you want there’s still room to have a dig at the coach and find something to moan about.
