How often have two Third Round games been played in London?

No chance of setting up a double header?
No, thought not.

I guess it will depend on what Wests want to do. Not sure there is a stand at Wasps FC but maybe scope for something temporary.

Would make an awful lot of sense to play it as a double header, but doubt west's would want to play out of west London, Ealing trailfinders I think might appeal as no real facilities for fans at wasps ground.

Back into that discussion re the CC do we actually want to win? Or is it a distractor from real job of staying in championship

The sad truth is there are only a small number of clubs that win the trophy and only a slightly larger number who can get to the final and aim to lose gracefully. Sadly we fall in neither camp so it is the classic example of a distraction especially as relegation is a real threat. The caveat though is the more home losses we have the less chance of reaching mythical attendance levels and ‘growing the game’ I’d like us to go at the game and win as an added bonus the more you progress the more likely you are to get to Wembley in the 1895. The downside is that I think we will rest plenty as our squad is so bizarrely thin and, of course, who ever gets to the 1895 will get a spanking off Fev unless they are heavily Dual reg’d up.

I'd take a 40 point loss and a chance for some of the reserves/academy to get a run. Game won't be on ST members deal and there will be bills to pay, so little chance of filling the gold lounge. Crowd if 300, with Gate receipts of under £5,000 and Key and Eagle announced as matchday sponsor....sorry, 302 on the Gate as they'll count buck and dusty

I doubt the club will take the CC seriously. I mean lets face it, we were undercooked and under resourced for the championship which you would assume is the priority.

Indeed, especially now Buck and Duty are different entities again.

I'm just surprised that Buck & Dusty haven't been revealed as our 2 new assistant coaches or additions for our under-cooked & under strength 1st team.
