I'd forgot about loop fixtures! I should have checked! Hopefully it'll be in decent condition by then. It looks like the club have acknowledged the issues and are doing something about it in the short term.
I saw the photo with the covers on the other day - would that be to try and get the grass to grow quicker, or is there something else that can be done ??

Why on earth would you listen to what is akin to click bait about the pitch , if it passes for the giants why on earth wouldn’t it pass for HKR. For more pressing things to worry about . The pitch I am reliably told is the same spec as Man City , and if those clowns can roll around on it constantly faking life threatening injuries without so much as a scratch I’m sure our rough n tough players will find it a breeze. On a side note the very next week after Toms skin grafting induced injuries they looked fine and dandy on sky . Storm in a teacup unfortunately

These Facebook media posts are full of them and I maintain that news should be banned on social media and have a uniform channel/location/website. Everyone’s a journalist these days and just another downside to social media in todays society.
Anyway, last pitch inspection it was said it would be monitored and potentially subjected to further inspections. It passed the last and should pass this. It’s not news and is expected.
As with all things trinity I expect people and certain media Facebook sites to shortly announce grandiose titles like Wakey Hull KR fixture at risk etc etc. it’ll be the usual all pile on mentality.

I’ve no idea regarding grass and plastic playing areas, but, we have sprinklers to water the grass, why not hire the heat lamp type things that are bolted to a frame and try and give the grass a fortnight to grow? Is it that simple or am I missing something?
