Do please tell us more of what you read on Facebook.

"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."

How’s that cultural enrichment of immigrants working out in sleepy old Sweden. Certainly not sleepy anymore that’s for certain.

Please do tell us more about your trips to Sweden, we'd love to hear your insights.

What's that, you've never been?

Oh.

Oh.

Spent some time in Malmo. Nice people but Malmo at that time was the most boring and dull place on god’s earth. Certainly not boring or dull now.
Perhaps you might like to answer the question instead of ducking the issue.

I was in Malmo last March. Seemed very much the same as usual to me. Will be going again in April, I look forward to it also being the nice, calm and quiet place it usually is.

Obviously in the fever dreams of racists and lunatic right wingers it's something totally different. But then what would they know?

You obviously have a better grasp of the situation than than the actual Swedish prime minister.

As a pure point of pedantry, the former Swedish Prime Minister.

I see Lee Anderson says the Conservatives won the last election based on Brexit, Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn. A not unreasonable analysis. However, as he acknowledges, those three are done and gone. At the next election he suggests that his party go with a mix of culture wars and trans debate. Y’know, to help the UK face up it’s really core structural issues.

'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.
