Inflated a bit because 2 home derby's a year was the fixture policy at the time, but also on the back of our 2005/2006 success bringing in new fans.

But yeh do get your point, we can average over 12k if we sorted ourselves out and stopped our end of season nosedives.

And during that period we never came anywhere near winning the competition. It's not difficult to imagine what the averages would have been if we were competitive during that period.

Moving forward If AP can secure a favourable deal I'll gladly welcome staying at the KCOM. Needs a lick of paint and a good clean but is a top class stadium in a great location.

Our home support even success included wouldn't and hardly ever gets more than 15,000 fc fans

Even the derby hasn't got close to capacity for years

Our highest non Derby is 19,549 in 2003 against Bradford iirc filled the North stand

Last few years Even Leeds games don't get close to 17,000 like they used to in 2004/05/06 years

Exactly this ^^^^^^

After the poor showings since 2018 , post lockdown the absolute poop shows under BH you would certainly have expected a drop in fanbase understandably. However the appointment of Smith with relatively minimal changes in playing squad has shown that with 7500+ members for this season achieving an average attendance of 10-11K is certainly a very achievable goal over the next couple of years with a better brand of rugby being played and continued improvement. This is why I fail to see any real logic behind a secondary stadium with a 12K capacity. It’s not beyond the realms i possibility that is 3 to 4 years and genuinely challenging at the top that an average of 12K plus could happen especially if they’re a bit of silverware along the way.
Both Hull clubs have shown that even when under performing the fan numbers are still good.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Just had a look on City's forum to see what they make of it - a couple there saying accommodating us somehow would be key to any plans, so feels like we do have some leverage at least.

Unsurprisingly they are all for relocating the fair but one poster said the £25m is massively undercalled and you'd have to agree. They reckon by about £100m.

I like the idea of a sports village with training facilities for both clubs maybe even a new small ground that could host city under 21s, womens, FC reserves etc but not for the FC first team - we need to stay at the KC/MKM even if expanded

Time for the council to gift the ground to both City and FC as a starter which would secure our future and be similar to what theyve done with KR

Absolutely 12k is too small

Rovers, Leeds, cas, Wigan, saints, wire all would almost be sell out at 12k ridiculous

A new 12000 seater stadium for Hull FC would probably cost in the region of £25m. Where's Adam going to find that sort of cash from ? The club is completely skint, which is common knowledge.

An alternative improved deal to use the current stadium once the current deal expires. How on earth would they get an "improved" deal?. The only way this deal will be agreed will be Hull FC paying a substantial amount of extra rent to use the stadium, which currently runs at a massive loss.

Lets face it, Adam and Hull FC have absolutely no leverage at all in this process, and the idea of a new stadium for Hull FC is nothing but a pipe dream.

Hull KR = A 100% Hull Team
Hull FC = 50% Hull, 50% Gateshead

I reckon you didn’t go to many games last season. The quoted gate and the actual gate was way beyond compare. 12,000 stadium would encourage pass holders to renew, meaning a “sell out” every game, and you can’t do anything better than that.
