Wire website said it wasn't available to watch online. Added *Just had a look & it doesn't look like being on Our League. Not heard anything about radio coverage either. Warrington Radio is my big hope ... but can't find anything.

Thoughts?
Well, Thewlis did have a few blemishes last year, but I think this is about throwing down the gauntlet to Russel. ie' perform at the highest standard or you will simply be used when we get injuries'. I don't think Thewlis will be particularly worried, he is the future and in any case I am pretty sure it will be FB not wing.
Powell knows what to expect from Thewlis, this will give him a better opportunity to take a look at Russell. There are 4 wingers in the matchday squad, I'd expect them all to get similar gametime.
It’s a testimonial. Come on Wire. You know Leigh never roll over. Complete pace Leigh have and you have no chance up the middle. As for Powell’s comment Leigh have been ready for 4 weeks. Good luck.

It is a testimonial but it is also the only run out for the first team squad pre season. Inevitably we will be sieving through the entrails post match for clues to the season ahead. We will also be expecting rather more than usual from such a match given the mess that was last season.
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.
These pre-season friendlies seldom fail to disappoint. We’ll inevitably look ‘clunky’, with missed opportunities and defensive lapses galore, and then increasingly disjointed as we make changes in the second half (although this year we look to be fielding a much smaller match day squad). Despite all the training we will look unfit.
I can recall a pre-season game against Wigan during the Smith era where it looked for all the world as though these were the two teams who would be propping up the table come the end of the year. A week or two later the same two teams kicked off the season with one of the best Super League games of all time, you just can’t tell. Hopefully we’ll come through this one unscathed but I’m already resigned to the fact that I’ll have wasted my money, and yet I go every year.
