Smithers99 wrote:Marcus Stock was announced as a Prop but equally appears to be a Second Row. He was primarily an Interchange for York last year, but I see he started a match in the Second Row. He has been allocated the Number 12 shirt this season. So I'm thinking he will be primarily a Second Row player this season. I'm anticipating a starting line-up like this tomorrow:
Walker
Ulberg
Bassett
Grant
Macani
Leyland
Raiwalui
Albert
Davis
Williams or Bienek (depends how the coach wants to utilise Bienek)
Lovell
Stock
Parata
Interchanges:
Bienek or Williams
Silva
Natoli
Horsman
Bienek and Williams appear to have swapped shirt numbers this season, wearing 15 and 10 respectively. It's only a shirt number but I'm guessing the plan is to start Williams with Bienek being an impact interchange. Bienek appeared to be used in short spells last season, so starting as an Interchange shouldn't limit his playing time in the way it would do to Parata for example.
Selection options once Waine arrives (assuming its before Silva's loan expires). With Waine and Natoli looking like they will play second Row or Loose Forward, then when Silva leaves I suspect Stock will become a Interchange primarily covering the Props.
I've seen some predictions for Batley to win by 30. Unless the Broncos are totally unprepared I'd be surprised if it wasn't considerably closer.
I think we could win this. Or to put it another way I m more confident we will win than that we’ll have our shirts and sponsors ready for the start of the season. What happens on the pitch is infinitely more important of course but the failure on the latter is a spectacular piece of incompetence if it turns out to be true.
