As you know i am not a fan of Griffin as a centre but have to say i am looking forward to seeing him as an out and out second row.
I was probably the first to suggest we use Griffin as a second row much to the disdain of many on here.
Fresh start for him,looks fit and healthy and would certainly solve our weakness in the second row if he performs.
New era i hope it works out for him

For me up until his Achilles injury Griffin was one of if not the top performer for the team. I think it’s fair to say he has struggled physically and mentally since the injury which has seemingly affected him. I’d also suggest that issues within the squad probably hasn’t helped either. Whilst I don’t agree with some things that he’s allegedly done like talking back at Hodgson etc it’s seems things under Hodgson were a poop show behind the scenes.
If Griffin has his attitude and desire right and trusts in Smith as his Head Coach then Griffin moving to 2nd row may prove to be a master stroke.

Best wishes to him. He's a good bloke and deserves a bit of luck.

A permanent move to the second row could be a great move for him.
