Well it's just a few weeks since it was suggested he could make the start of the season.

Isn't Lovodua still in the rehab group ? Suspect we will be short of more than just Jake for the opener.

Fully support the new approach, you win nothing early doors - hopefully only field FULLY fit players this year. We have the size of squad to not need to be playing players who aren't 100%.

Really hoping Mcnamara gets the nod to start at 6 against Cas. Hopefully the days of putting square pegs in round holes are over.

Seems the obvious choice and was going ok before his back injury last year.

Keep Hoy at 1 too

Paul Cooke quote:

I thought that Conner chose to leave

Agree, think McNamara outplayed the other halves and was doing well up until his back injury. Though if Shaul has got back to something like his 2016/17 days then he’s also at option at FB with Hoy moving to halves. Time will tell but nice we have options.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

It’s not that long ago that members on here were stating that Shaull isn’t a modern day pivot because he can’t create or pass. If he has a role in the team, I think it would be on the wing.

Disappointing to see our new signing retweeting anti-vaccination rubbish.
